Local tip: Visit at sunrise or early morning for soft light and fewer tourists. Small entrance fee and optional swing experiences are available.
Tirta Empul Temple
Eat, pray, love in Bali. If you are looking for a meaningful Balinese ritual experience, cultural immersion, you must visit this site.
Local tip: Need to wear sarong inside the temple (available at the entrance). Arrive early to join the ritual with fewer queues.
Tibumana waterfalls
A tranquil, photogenic waterfall set in a jungle clearing near Ubud. Tibumana is known for its single curtain of water, a calm plunge pool, and a relaxed atmosphere compared with busier falls.

Manuaba waterfalls
Manuaba waterfall is a less-touristy destination. It's closer to the Empul Temple and needs around 20 minutes to arrive. There are two small waterfalls in this spot.
Ubud Palace & Ubud market
Ubud Palace is a historic royal compound with ornate architecture. The ubud market sells textiles and souvenirs. You may also walk around the streets in this area as there are many boutique shops selling vacation clothes.
